Let's get straight to the point, and to the heart of the matter. What is money to you? To some, money may be there hope for tomorrow. To another, money is their way to fame. Yet to someone else, money is something they just can't seem to keep. To a mother, having money may mean a good education for their child. Money can mean different things to so many people.
The bible pertains more than 800 scriptures about money. Two scriptures come to mind when I think about money: for love of money is the root of al kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10 ), and...... money answereth all things ( Ecclesiastes 10:19 ). We must pay close attention to the verse: It says "loving money" is the root of evil, not money. Money in and of itself is just a material good. It's what you do with money which determines the motives of your heart.
The bible also makes it clear in Ecclesiastes 10:19 that in this world, we do need money to live in this life. However, it's clear, that we are not to worship money, but learn how to manage money for the good of ourselves, our family, and our world. So share what is money to you, and let's begin our journey to learn how to make money work for us, and not the other way around.
